May Anyone Open an Account on Hollywood Races?
Many people may but not everyone. Hollywood Races allows users to open advance deposit wagering accounts and transmit pari-mutuel wagering information to participating race tracks around the United States. Advance deposit wagering accounts and pari-mutuel wagering are legal in many but not all U.S. States. Even in States where advance deposit wagering accounts and pari-mutuel wagering are legal, Hollywood Races may be unavailable for internal business reasons.
What are the Eligibility Criteria to Open an Account on Hollywood Races?
- You must agree to and abide by the Terms of Conditions.
- You must be at least 18 years of age (except in certain jurisdictions noted below where the minimum age is older).
- You must not be on any self-exclusion lists where individuals named therein are prohibited from playing casino or pari-mutuel games.
- You must be a legal U.S. resident in one of the “Permitted U.S. states” (see below) where Hollywood Races is offered.
What are the “Permitted U.S states” where Hollywood Races is Offered?
Currently new account registrations are only being accepted from residents of the following states, in accordance with state law: Alabama (ages 21 and older), Arkansas, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Montana, New Hampshire, New York, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.
